The Time Machine
"The Time Machine", a collaboration between Hoobs and Coyle, is a functioning clock and glass piece built live during the Corning Museum of Glass's 'Elevated Designs' program. The piece features a dual chamber percolator paired with a dual bowl setup, giving two independent load points that filter through separate chambers before converging, along with a built-in drain for maintenance without disassembly. Finishing details were completed alongside artists Glass By Who, Henry B Glass, and Jamms Glass in the final hours of the two-week class.
